From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

It's not been a bad week for Kendall Jenner, yesterday she had the honour of closing the Chanel autumn/winter 2015 couture show as Karl Lagerfeld's bride and today the model has been unveiled in the new Calvin Klein underwear campaign.

The 19 year old 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star appears alongside Joan Smalls, Isabeli Fontana and Edita Vilkeviciute in the fall 2015 global advertising campaign.

This is the second campaign Jenner has fronted for the iconic brand which launched the career of Kate Moss over two decades ago.

Last season she was introduced to the Calvin Klein family with a campaign for the jeans division of the label.

Speaking to WWD about the newest addition to her burgeoning CV, Jenner said:

"It was super fun. Every girl loves posing in her underwear. It’s always fun to do that."

“The shoot was amazing. Mikael Jansson shot it, and he and I have a good chemistry. Having girls around who are all my friends, the energy was really great." She continued.

“Calvin Klein originated sexy and we’re going to reclaim, re-imagine and re-image it,” said Melisa Goldie, Chief Marketing Officer of Calvin Klein, Inc.

“We’re bringing together a powerful mix of women from all over the world to celebrate our heritage as a leader in the intimates category.”

Last season it was Justin Bieber who had the honour of starring in the campaign alongside Lara Stone in another raunchy set of campaign images.
