This election is still a dead heat, according to most polls. In a fight with such wafer-thin margins, we need reporters on the ground talking to the people Trump and Harris are courting. Your support allows us to keep sending journalists to the story.

Karlie Kloss is leaving Victoria's Secret after 3 years working for the brand. It has been confirmed that the supermodel will be hanging up her Angel wings.

Kloss joined the company in 2011 and unlike other models who have had to earn the right to call themselves a Victoria's Secret Angel by walking in multiple shows before being granted the status, Kloss was the first ever model to get her wings right away.

Ed Razek, Senior Creative at the lingerie brand confirmed the news to US Magazine commenting:

"Karlie and I met several months ago to discuss the many things she hoped to do in her life and career. As we talked, it became clear she would not have the time to fulfill her myriad commitments. Reluctantly, we agreed she would leave the brand at the end of her contract."

"Her future is unlimited, and I am excited to see all the good she will do. Karlie Kloss will always be an Angel to me."

Kloss, 22, has walked in the label's annual fashion show for the last four years, including at last year's London show.

The news comes off the back of various other major brand commitments for the American model including new contracts as a L'Oreal spokesperson and as the face of Chanel's Coco Noir fragrance.

She also has a collaboration with New York bakery Momofuko which markets the gluten and dairy free healthy Karlie's Kookies.

Kloss is US Vogue's March cover star, starring alongside her best friend Taylor Swift in a road-trip inspired shoot.
