Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Fancy owning Kim Kardashian's Balenciaga dress? Or how about Cara Delevingne's Mulberry bag? The Vestiaire Collective charity auction which goes live tomorrow means you can do just that.
Premium online re-sale site vestiairecollective.com is celebrating 5 years in the business of selling on pre-loved items with a very special charity auction.
The site has raided the wardrobe of 50 very stylish, famous women who have donated items to be auctioned off to the public with all proceeds of the items sold are being donated to a charity of the celebrity's choice.
The sale includes coveted buys including Miu Miu heels from Hailee Steinfield, a Chanel jacket from Poppy Delevingne, a Christopher Kane bag from Emanuelle Alt.
StyleCycle is a new initiative from the designer re-sale website which aims to not only encourage customers to recycle their clothing (they estimate 30% of clothing in most wardrobes hasn't been worn in over a year) but also to shop pre-loved pieces rather than always buying new.
The StyleCycle Auction will be available at stylecycle.vestiairecollective.com from 6 to 14 November.
