Dame Helen Mirren has made her debut for L'Oreal Paris in campaign imagery and a video advert released today.

The 69 year old actress was unveiled as the new face of the brand back in October and this is her first outing in her new role.

Speaking in October about the collaboration with L'Oreal Paris she said:

"I am not gorgeous and I never was, but I was always ok-looking and I’m keen to stay that way.

"I hope I can inspire other women towards greater confidence by making the most of their natural good looks. We are all worth it!" she commented.

The ad begins with Mirren waiting at a bus stop where a fellow passenger offers her a seat to which Mirren says:

"Ever feel like you go unnoticed, and when you don't..well, enough!"

The Age Perfect cream is introduced with Mirren explaining: "It's the science I trust to help me look like me."

"Grow another year bolder, look and feel more radiant, our perfect age is now."

She finishes with the iconic L'Oreal line: "So are we worth it? More than ever."
