From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Christopher Kane is to collaborate with beauty brand NARS on a full collection of makeup to launch next year.

It was announced yesterday, following the presentation of Christopher Kane's spring/summer 2015 collection that the designer will team up with NARS to produce a full colour collection.

"NARS has been a long-standing and valued partner of ours, so this collaboration was an obvious fit." Kane commented on the announcement.

"NARS has the same unapologetic aesthetic that is signature to the Christopher Kane brand and I'm excited to share what we've created together."

The range will include products for eyes, lips and cheeks and is expected to hit shops next May.

However fans of the designer won't have to wait quite that long to get a sneak peek of the collection as it was used yesterday on the models featured in his runway show.

Models wore matte lipstick in a pale pink shade with dewy-looking luminous skin.

NARS and Christopher Kane have a long standing relationship and have been working together on Kane's London Fashion Week presentations since 2012.
