Glamour Ask a Stylist

There are countless styling advice apps on iTunes but this one links you to professional stylists in real time: US Glamour has partnered with shopping website Like.com to respond to your outfit questions in minutes. All you have to do is take a picture of the outfit you're unsure about, submit it to a Glamour stylist of your choice, and tell them what occasion you're planning to wear it at.

Diane von Furstenberg

Ever the new media queen, von Furstenberg has now released her first iPhone app that finds the store that's closest to you and lets you browse and shop collections on the go. Special features include an integrated Twitter feed and an exclusive wrap dress created to celebrate the app launch, which can be ordered for $325.

The magazine's app includes more than 300 screens featuring an interview with British actress Carey Mulligan, a controversial photo shoot starring the male cast of Jersey Shore and supermodel Bar Refaeli, and more celeb stories on the likes of Ke$ha, Justin Bieber, and Kellan Lutz.

The fashion sample sale site has launched its own iPad app for online shopping at your fingertips. "With our iPad app, users feel like they are physically touching the products," the group said in a statement. You will be granted instant membership if you download the app, and the first 10,000 to do so will get an extra $10 shopping credit.
