Lush Halloween: Don’t like dressing up? Get in the spirit with a themed bath instead
Cast a spell on your senses this Hallow’s Eve with this new line of boo-tiful bath products
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. On October 31st every year we’re encouraged to don a frightening ensemble, carve pumpkins and lurk on our neighbours in a hopeful bid for sweets but if you prefer to get in the seasonal spirit at home or you fancy more of a treat than a trick this Hallows’ Eve, Lush’s holiday bath line guarantees to cast a spell on your senses.
Lush is a brand globally recognised for its innovative approach to bath and body. Products are made by hand with little or no preservatives and every single Lush item is 100 per cent vegetarian. But while this is all hugely commendable it’s the brand’s creative team’s seasonal power that us Lush-ies find truly spooktactular.
Lush’s Halloween range is one of the most hotly anticipated beauty launches of the year – other than its Christmas offering of course – and with predicted sales of Halloween-based products in the UK hitting £283m last year, it’s also pretty big business.
So what selection of treats can you get your ghostly mitts on this time round? For a truly mystical bathing experience there is of course a cumbersome selection of bath bombs. Fearsome favourite Lord of Misrule is back for a fourth year while three new fizzers come in the form of Autumn Leaf, Pumpkin and Monster’s Ball; the scariest of them all, inspired by the Abominable Snowman.
Other new arrivals include Boo bath melt – a spicy soak inspired by sweet meringue in the shape of a ghost – and the Goth Fairy shimmer bar – a super cute butter block packed with glitter that smells so much like Parma Violets it’s almost edible. Almost.
For more limited edition spookiness there are also a couple of new soaps, Fireside and Magic Wand, which call upon chilly nights around the fire and sweet zingy tangerine.
Forget bobbing for apples, this Halloween we’re dipping into a boo-tiful bath filled with a selection if Lush treats.
