In a pre-social media age, the antics of London Fashion Week were only ever privy to those lucky enough to be invited.

Now, thanks to the advent of influencers and their assiduous documentation skills, fashion week’s notoriously iron-clad gates have opened up to the masses, as bloggers and stylists avidly snap their way through the proceedings for thousands of followers.

So, who should you be keeping your eye on this season?

1. Susie Lau

One of the original fashion bloggers, Susie Lau started her popular blog Style Bubble in 2006 and has since built up a reputation as one of the most eminent voices in the industry.

Renowned for her quirky aesthetic and colourful ensembles, the former Dazed editor is praised for her idiosyncratic eye when it comes to identifying key trends.

She regularly champions emerging talents in the industry and has helped bring a number of young names to the fore of the industry.

2. Lucy Williams

Brit-born Lucy started her website Fashion Me Now when she was still a student at university. Now, the 31-year-old is a full-time blogger and self-described “wanderer”, combining travel and fashion on her popular Instagram account, which boasts 368,000 followers.

With a number of high-end collaborations under her belt - she most recently partnered with boutique label Love Stories for a swimwear collection - Williams is a well-respected authority in the industry.

Her style is epitomises a girlish charm that is neither twee nor hackneyed while her artful photography makes for a delightful scrolling experience.

3. Camille Charrière

Parisian-born Charrière is a leading light in the land of fashion influencers, boasting 648,000 followers on Instagram.

A regular in the front row, the former City slicker has garnered a flurry of fans thanks to her enviably chic wardrobe and witty commentary.

Naturally, she also models and has worked with a number of leading brands such as Reformation and Mango.

4. Leandra Medine

Best known for founding Man Repeller, the popular US fashion and lifestyle website which prides itself on combining the sartorial with the comedic, Medine is now one of the most venerated names in the industry.

Throughout fashion month Medine delights her followers with droll commentary and sharp trend observations, not to mention her impeccable style, which is buoyant, feminine and transgressive all at the same time.

5. Grace Victory

One of the leading voices in the body positive movement, Victory’s Instagram account is a must-follow for London Fashion Week.

Not only does the British blogger and YouTuber regularly post uplifting and candid messages regarding body confidence, but she has a refreshing take on the industry as a whole and is not afraid to call out brands for a lack of diversity and kick-start important conversations, which, in the current climate, is just what we need.
