A shirt worn by Joe Exotic in an episode of the Netflix hit documentary Tiger King has gone on sale on eBay for $650 (£519).

The pink sequin long-sleeved shirt was worn by the notorious zoo owner in the second episode of the series.

It was obtained by owner Vincent Baron from Greater Wynnewood Zoo, which Exotic formerly owned.

“This shirt is guaranteed authentic and is a very rare piece,” the description reads on eBay.

“The zoo has sold off the shirts worn by his backup helpers from the various shows performed at the zoo, but this is the only one of the bunch that was WORN by Joe Exotic himself.”

Baron adds that the shirt has “a bit of wear” near the arm holes and looks as if it was custom-made for Exotic.

“Get it while you can, before Carole Baskin does!” the description adds in reference to Exotic’s arch nemesis in the series.

Thus far, there have been no bids on the shirt.

Tiger King has been one of Netflix’s most popular original series and has raked in 34 million viewers.

The seven-part series, which has been labelled “absolutely bonkers“ by viewers, retells the story of a prolific war between Exotic, a flamboyant tiger owner, and Baskin, a Florida-based animal activist.

Many celebrities have praised the series, including Kim Kardashian West, who tweeted: “Has anyone seen Tiger King on Netflix?!?! It is crazy!!!!”
