Jennifer Lopez has stealthily revealed that she is launching a beauty line.

Sharing a series of sun-kissed selfies to Instagram and a portrait of her staring at a sunset earlier this week, the actress broke the news in her caption.

“Sunset glow… #JLoBeauty coming soon”, the 51-year-old wrote, revealing the name of her eponymous forthcoming collection.

While further details are yet to be shared about when the range will be released, and what products it may include, her glowing skin and smokey eyes in the photos would suggest that both skincare and colour cosmetics may be in the testing stages.

It comes after a teasing Instagram video three weeks ago, in which a bare-faced Lopez asked her 130 million followers: "You wanna know what we've been working on? Should I tell you?"

While this would mark the first solo beauty range from the actress, she previously collaborated with make-up brand Inglot Cosmetics in 2018.

Lopez can also be credited with popularising the celebrity scent with her perfume Glow by JLo, launched in 2002, and has released 29 perfumes since, including Promise and Live.

The Instagram announcement may appear to have come out of the blue, but the actress has previously spoken about aspirations of launching a beauty line.

'I will be coming out with a skincare line. I’ve been working on it for a long time, because I don’t want to put [just] anything out”, she told Refinery29 in 2018.

“I want it to be something that encompasses all the things I’ve learned and all the secrets I have. And it doesn’t have anything to do with needles.”

Further details are likely to emerge through JLo’s social channels - so watch this space.
