Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

British sporting giant Umbro has joined forces with tongue-in-cheek designer House of Holland to launch a second instalment of their super-successful collaboration.

Moving on from the previous 90s sportswear-inspired collection, this time round the pair have come together to create a unisex collection of 23 styles inspired by British football culture.

In addition to House of Holland’s provocative and playful signature style, the new collection riffs on Umbro’s instantly recognisable place in football culture.

Here, retro football strips are updated using Holland’s pop-inspired motifs, while streetwear silhouettes work to deliver a new take on sportswear.

Classic sporting blues and reds are prominent throughout the Autumn/Winter collection but House of Holland’s playful style is never very far away.

Fans of the label will be glad to see that Henry Holland's eye-catching aesthetic is front and centre in the form of lime green and vibrant orange hoodies, while traditional football jerseys come covered in bright and bold checkerboard prints.

Completing the new-season collection, you’ll also find on-trend bomber jackets with all-over recurrent logos, jersey joggers and shorts, graphic tees and star print sweaters.
