Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

H&M has a strong track record of generating mass hysteria with its clothing, having gained widespread notoriety for annual designer collaborations with the likes of Erdem, Balmain and Versace.

This year, the high street stalwart has joined forces with Giambattista Valli, an Italian couturier synonymous with gargantuan tulle gowns.

The collection is being stocked online and in select H&M stores. In London, just three shops will be selling the collection: Oxford Circus, Regent Street and Westfield Stratford.

The brand announced its latest partnership in May by having reality star and supermodel Kendall Jenner wear one of the pieces from its collection to the Cannes Film Festival.

While the model gave fashion fans a preview of what to expect from the highly anticipated collection then, now H&M has released the full lookbook featuring womenswear and menswear.

Shot in Valli’s hometown of Rome by photographer Kyle Weeks, the campaign features models including Oslo Grace, Leslye Houenou, Mara Kasanpawiro, Kohei Takabatake, Luka Isaac and Tom Rey.

The collection includes an array of ready-to-wear pieces including ruffled blouses and gowns to snake-effect trousers, a leopard print coat and logo-heavy hoodies.

Price points for the line-up range from £29.99 through to £399 for the showstopping red tulle dress.

The entire range will be made available at select H&M stores globally and on the retailer's website starting on 7 November 2019.
