From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.TV presenter Emma Willis has launched a clothing collection in collaboration with high street retailer Next.
The mother-of-three has previously curated her own edits for the brand, however this is the first time she has designed her own range.
On Friday, the 30-piece collection launched online delivering everything you need for the perfect capsule summer wardrobe, from elegant tailoring and stylish beachwear to comfortable pyjamas and flattering swimwear.
Known for her love of well-tailored suits, Willis’ collection features an array of power suits in pastel checks, effortless neutrals and bold blue.
Meanwhile, the swim and beachwear pieces feature a bold blue palm print, and subtle stripe details with classic blacks.
Speaking about the collaboration, Willis said: “I feel incredibly lucky to be asked to design my own range of clothing.
"It’s not something that in my wildest dreams I’d ever thought would happen but I’m so grateful that it has and that I get to work with Next.”
The 42-year-old added she hopes the range has “a broad appeal for both age and size”, noting the majority of pieces are available in UK sizes six to 22.
“Its look is quite classic which I love and it has that feminine/masculine cross over feel which I always think is really easy to wear,” she said of the collection.
Willis also shared the news with her 1.4m followers on Instagram by posting a number of photos of herself modelling the collection.
“THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME!!” she wrote.
“For the past year we’ve been beavering away on a secret little project and today @nextofficial and I can let the cat out the bag!
“Our goal was classic pieces, for all ages, that you can mix and match. I hope you like it.”
The collection is available to buy now online at Next.co.uk and will be in selected stores from 5 March.
Prices start at £12 for the Emma Willis Basic T-Shirt, and go up to £70 for the Emma Willis Wrap Jumpsuit.
