From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Love Island season five has officially come to a close after Monday’s finale saw Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea walk away as winners.

It all began in June when 12 new “islanders” walked into the ITV show villa ready for an eight-week run of love, heartbreak, and countless hours spent on the beanbags in front of the infinity pool.

While we spent weeks trying to get our heads around contestant Lucie Donlan’s vernacular (“a bev is a hot guy”) and Amber’s suggestion that being 28 makes you “old”, we also turned our attention to the show’s presenter Caroline Flack, who wore an array of wardrobe-inspiring looks on the show.

Last year, Flack’s stylist Nisha Grewal revealed she usually tried to sneak in a secret message to each of the 39-year-old’s outfits during last year’s show.

“I’m constantly trying to sneak in a heart or a love element into Caroline’s clothes,” Grewal told Fabulous.

From sweetheart neckline dresses to denim shorts, here are all the best outfits Caroline Flack wore on Love Island 2019.

Love Island: Episode 1

For the first show, the ITV presenter wore a bandeau denim mini dress from Christopher Kane’s spring/summer 2019 collection.

The dress costs £498 and is currently sold out online, but you can buy a similar version here.

Aftersun: Episode 1

Flack wore an altered baby pink cape mini dress by MSGM for the first episode of Aftersun on Sunday evening, which is sold out here. A similar version of the dress is available to buy here.

The presenter teamed the look with a pair of multicoloured strappy sandals by Sophia Webster, available here.

Aftersun: Episode 2

For the second episode of Love Island: Aftersun, Flack wore a black and white sleeveless dress with a heart print from For Love And Lemons. A similar version of the dress can be found here.

The presenter paired the look with a pair of white pointed-toe stilettos from Aldo.

According to the For Love and Lemons website, the brand was founded in 2011 by best friends Laura Hall and Gillian Rose Kern and “cultivated on the principles of confidence, femininity and individuality”. Dresses on the brand are sold for approximately £280 online.

Love Island: Episode 14

For Tuesday night’s episode of Love Island, Flack chose a marigold mini dress by Los Angeles-based designer, Michelle Mason.

The TV host paired the strapless cocktail dress with a pair of gold stiletto heels.

The gown itself isn’t currently available on Mason’s website and has sold out on Shopbop, but similar pieces are on sale at Revolve from £363.

Aftersun: Episode 3

For the third episode of Aftersun, Flack chose a three-quarter length T-shirt from Christopher Kane emblazoned with the words: “More baby more”, which she paired with a denim mini skirt form Topshop and a pair of sparkly strappy heels by British accessories designer, Sophia Webster.

Love Island: Episode 22

On Thursday night’s episode of Love Island, Flack wore a blue mini dress by New York-based designer Caroline Constas.

The dress featured a billowing train, dropped sleeves and was adorned with a pink floral motif.

Flack accessorised the gown with a pair of nude heels.

The dress itself isn’t currently available on Constas’ website and has sold out on The Outnet.

Love Island: Episode 23

(ITV2) (ITV)

Flack returning to the nation’s TV screens on Friday night to greet the female contestants at this year’s Casa Amor villa.

The presenter wore a black, fruit-patterned playsuit emblazoned with pineapples, cherries, lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits.

The summer-ready ensemble is currently in the sale at Warehouse for £20, but it has unfortunately sold out.

However, it is still available to buy for £35 at Next.

Love Island: Episode 26

Flack made a bold entrance at the Love Island for one of the most dramatic post-Casa Amor recoupling’s in the show’s history.

The presenter wore an leopard-print, off-shoulder Self-Portrait mini dress, which she accessorised with tan, strappy Kurt Geiger heels.

The dress is available to purchase from the Self-Portrait website for £260.

Aftersun: Episode 5

Flack opted for a casual look for her fifth appearance on Love Island‘s Sunday night debrief show Aftersun, combining pieces from high-street brands Zara, River Island and Topshop.

The television presenter went for a 1980s vibe with her Zara one-shoulder puff sleeve top, which retails at £29.99.

The 39-year-old paired her top with bright blue “Annie” high-waist denim shorts from River Island, which cost £30.

The finishing touch of her ensemble were her Topshop “Sahara” snake-print heeled sandals, available for £49.

Love Island: Episode 36

The presenter interrupted the fun during the islanders club party wearing a tiered off-the-shoulder belted Zimmermann dress in a bright orange hue.

A similar version of the dress is available from the Australian brand at Selfridges for £470 here.

The outfit was styled with a pair of zebra-print platform sandals (an almost identical version is available here) from Dune.

Aftersun: Episode 6

Following the drama at the beach club on Sunday evening, Flack appeared on the show’s spin-off programme, Aftersun, to run through the past week’s episodes.

For the programme, the 38-year-old wore a strapless red dress by Los Angeles-based label Michelle Mason.

The dress is currently unavailable to buy online but a floor-length version of the dress with straps is on sale here for £713.

The outfit was teamed with a pair of strappy black heels (available to buy here) by Sophia Webster and a monogrammed necklace with the letters “C” and “F’, which presumably stand for her initials.

Love Island: Episode 56

For the penultimate episode of Love Island, Flack wore a bright fuchsia pink floor-length dress with a thigh split by Belgian fashion label Essentiel Antwerp.

The dress retails for £185, and also comes in orange and blue.

Love Island Final

For the finale, Flack wore a zebra print mini dress by House of Holland.

The striped cocktail dress was designed especially for the finale and featured a long tie at the side.
