With bright blush, hair bows and mullets making appearances on the runway during London Fashion Week, one hair trend, in particular, shined bright like a diamond - crystal hair partings.

Featured during the Markus Lupfer show, the models hit the runway with smooth hair parted straight down the middle to reveal a strip of crystals - and people are already trying to replicate the sparkly style.

The mastermind behind the look was Lupfer himself, who actually dreamt up the style. But it was hairstylists Tina Outen and Collette Mcgee who made his dream come to life.

Smoothing and straightening the models’ hair into sleek shoulder-length dos, with the help of a ton of hairspray, the stylists then placed diamante crystals down the parting.

The models then hit the runway with matching dangling earrings - proving there is no such thing as too many diamonds.

And the crystal partings have already proved to be a hit, with beauty bloggers coming up with their own takes on the glistening trend.

YouTuber Jade Madden has created a tutorial of the look - and it turns out it’s pretty easy to replicate with the help of a craft store.

All you need to get the look is hairspray, a comb, and a strip of sticky crystals - available for £3.

However, Lupfer wasn’t the only designer to feature shimmering hair at London Fashion Week - designer Ashish Gupta also incorporated glittery hair into his show, with one model walking the runway in a blue tinsel wig and another featuring gold leaf accessories.

Out of all the new trends to come out of London Fashion Week, glitter hair may be the most wearable.

Other trends included condom dresses and Trump-inspired stilettos - which were unforgettable but hardly wearable off the runway.

But with fashion, anything goes.
