Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

In the wake of the Playstation's success, Sony is not the only company to launch games-related fashion items. To coincide with the launch of G-Police, Psygnosis has teamed up with G-Shock and Diesel to produce some exclusive merchandise.

G-Police is a futuristic flight-sim which puts you in control of a heavily- armed gunship. Set firmly in Blade Runner territory, you fly through realistic 3D cityscapes carrying out a range of missions.

To coincide with this cyberpunk image, G-Shock have come up with a limited- edition watch which will not be available in the shops. Each watch is worth around pounds 130 and only 400 will be produced.

The Diesel jackets are dark blue, Blousson-style denim with a subtle G-Police logo.

We have four packages on offer. Each package comprise a watch and a jacket (specify if male or female), and a copy of the game. Send your details to: Indy/G-Shock Comp, 12 Barley Mow Passage, London W4 4PH. Usual Newspaper Publishing rules apply.
