US group buys Unipalm

Unipalm Group, Europe's largest provider of Internet services, is being bought by UUNET Technologies, the American group, in an all-share deal that values the company at about pounds 97m. Last week Unipalm, owner of the Pipex service, said it had approval for the bid from at least 49 per cent of shareholders.
