Love Island 2019 has welcomed yet another contestant and she’s already ruffling feathers.

During Thursday night’s episode of the hit ITV programme, model Arabella Chi made an entrance when she surprised fellow islander Curtis Pritchard by lying on a sun lounger next to the pool while he made a coffee in the outside kitchen area.

After meeting her villa housemates, Chi then chose to go on a date with fellow islanders Anton Danyluk and Danny Williams, with whom she shared several interests including fitness and healthy eating.

Following the star’s arrival, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know about the London model.

Who is Arabella Chi?

Chi is a 28-year-old model and social media influencer who started her career in the fashion industry at the age of 18.

The blonde-beauty, who is 5ft 10.5inches tall, has modelled for several international fashion brands over the years including Very UK, Accesorize, and New Look.

With a love of fitness, the model has shared numerous photographs of herself in activewear on her Instagram account, @arabellachi.

Having expressed a passion for both boxing and yoga (she is a qualified yoga teacher), a quick look at Chi's Instagram reveals she has modelled for nutrition and fitness brands such as My Protein UK and Women’s Health.

In 2016, the model ran a marathon in Lisbon in four hours, as well as a half marathon in Saint Albans, Hertfordshire in under two hours.

Posts on the model’s account range from behind-the-scenes photographs from modelling shoots and workouts, to holidays including adventures to Mexico and Dubai.

Who has she dated?

Very little is known about the model’s love life, other than she one dated former Love Island contestant Charlie Frederik.

Frederik, who appeared on the 2018 series of the show, also previously dated Chi’s fellow contestant, Lucie Donlan.

When the women met in Thursday night’s episode, Donlan commented on how they both once dated the same man and admitted to having “stalked” Chi on social media in recent months.

On Thursday, Frederik took to Instagram and shared several text messages between himself and Chi which he claims were sent earlier this month.

Writing to his followers in an Instagram Story, the model said that he was still close to the model and shocked she hadn't told him about her appearance in Love Island.

"I'm truly upset that Arabella has lied to me about what she was doing and claiming she had a campaign but instead actually going into Love Island,” he wrote in a post on Instagram.

What films has she starred in?

While she might be known best for her work as a model, Chi has also starred in several Hollywood blockbuster films including Wonder Woman and Justice League.

Speaking about her time on the set of the DC Comic films, the 28-year-old previously stated that she was attracted by Game of Thrones actor, Jason Momoa.

“We had to train with him. I was an Amazonian. I remember this guy bear crawling towards me and I was like ‘oh my god, he is so hot,” she said, according to The Sun.

What type of people is she attracted to?

Given her love of fitness, Chi has said that she would like her future partner to “look like they work out and look after themselves”.

When it comes to personality, she told The Sun: “Personality wise I have a lot of love to give and I like it if someone returns that and makes me feel special. I like a charmer and someone that makes me laugh. That’s the most important thing in a relationship”.
