Amy Schumer is being applauded for mocking traditional pregnancy photo shoots
The actress is expecting her first child

Amy Schumer has hilariously mocked traditional maternity photo shoots with her new pregnancy photos featuring ducks and Spanish moss.
The actress, who is expecting her first child, participated in the photo shoot as part of a profile with The New York Times, in which she opened up about the difficulties of being pregnant.
But, rather than posing in a flowing gown or underwater like many other maternity shoots, the 37-year-old comedian opted to chase ducks naked in a New Orleans park.
In another photo, Schumer is pictured gazing into the distance as she covers her breasts with handfuls of Spanish moss.
On Instagram, where the photos have been liked more than 140,000 times, people are applauding the mum-to-be.
“This is my favourite maternity picture ever,” one person wrote.
Another said: “I can relate to these pregnancy photos way more than Beyonce’s!”
“Hysterical and beautiful,” someone else wrote, while others said they would be using the photos as inspiration for their own maternity shoots.
In the profile with The Times, Schumer described the estimated “980 times” she’s thrown up since becoming pregnant - the result of a condition called hyperemesis gravidarum that causes persistent nausea.
The I Feel Pretty star has previously discussed the condition on Instagram, where she revealed that she had to receive medical treatment in a hospital.
Hyperemesis affects around one in 100 women, according to the NHS, and can cause a person to vomit up to 50 times a day.
