Snails have taken a liking to my letters (PA)

I’m a victim of mail tampering.

Restoring my new (old) thatched home in Norfolk, I used local workmen whenever possible, and tried to pay bills promptly. To make life easier for postmen, a plastic mailbox was installed by my neighbour’s gate down the track.
