Video: Meet Mantis, the world's largest driveable hexapod robot
A new gigantic hexapod spider has been unveiled. The nine foot tall robot was made by Matt Denton, founder of Micromagic Systems, who's been working on it for four years. Its six legs are powered by hydraulics, it carries a 2.2 litre Turbo Diesel-powered engine, and it can be piloted on-board or via a remote wi-fi link.
