London Art Fair

This January over 100 leading Modern British and contemporary art galleries will be brought together for the 22nd edition of the London Art Fair - the UK's largest Modern British and Contemporary art fair - at the Business Design Centre, Islington. Every year, 22,000 visitors enjoy the work of over 1,000 leading artists ranging from Modern British masters to the most recent contemporary talent. Galleries are chosen by a selection committee and include major UK dealers such as Richard Green, Alan Cristea, FAS and Jonathan Clark Fine Art.

Tokyo Fashion fair

It may have been a difficult year for the jewelry industry in Japan, but everyone attending the JFW International Fashion Fair will be hoping that 2010 turns out to be better. More than 800 companies are expected to be displaying their wares and around 27,000 people are likely to attend.

Guns n' Roses' World Tour kicks off
January 13- February 4
Canada
American rock group Guns n' Roses launches the Chinese Democracy World Tour from Canada over a year after the release of its long-awaited 2008 album Chinese Democracy. The 13-date tour kicks off January 13 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and winds up on February 4 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, at the Metro Centre.
