OMG, the AIM-listed technology company, has hit a purple patch, unveiling two new deals in the space of the past few days.
The company, which specialises in mobile motion capture – recording movements digitally – has landed a new contract with the Highways Agency, fresh from its success working with the Imaginarium studio founded by actor Andy Serkis, who played Gollum in Lord of the Rings.
OMG's Yotta subsidiary will spend four years working to determine the condition of around 140,000km of Britain's main roads in a deal worth £2.27m. That win followed OMG's deal to supply Imaginarium with 80 of its specialist cameras. Shares have jumped a third in the last week.
