From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Konami has confirmed its Zone of the Enders HD Collection will launch on 30th November for Xbox 360 and PS3. Comprised of classic shooters Zone of the Enders and Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, the titles were the creation of Kojima Productions, the development studio behind the Metal Gear franchise.

The reissues have been remastered with updated HD visuals but retain the same all-action space battles that made the series famous, and focus on a backdrop of interplanetary war, with the user assuming the role of a mech pilot who is soon at the core of the war’s most crtical battles.

The collection marks the first time the two games have been available since their original PlayStation 2 launch, while Konami is also using their release to tease Kojima Productions’ forthcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance via a playable demo. See our preview of Revengeance here.
