A portable spin-off of the enjoyable action-platformer released on home consoles last year, Hell Yeah! Pocket Inferno ditches the core platforming gameplay of Arkedo’s title in favour of side-scrolling shooting more akin to Halfbrick’s hit Jetpack Joyride. Sega have sensibly retained the original’s manic humour, and appealing art style, but despite over 50 levels spread over five worlds, plus a plethora of hidden collectibles, the rather capricious controls have a tendency to counteract the best of the action.
