The second Sims 3 expansion pack adds amazing depth to the game, giving players the chance to experience different careers and learn new skills as tattooists, firefighters and more. But creating an addon where gamers play at going to work, spending long hours in the virtual office or body-modification parlour, seems almost perverse. Those who have never understood the appeal of The Sims won’t get any clarity from this release, but fans will appreciate the attention to detail.
