The makers of this game weren’t joking when they subtitled it World in Flames: it’s safe to say that it’s one seriously explosive title.

Packed with ridiculous battle scenes, even sillier one-liners and with a plot that’s thinner than tracing paper, this is all about action rather than contemplation. Choppering around on a nuke-fuelled rampage is dumb fun, but there are countless glitches that make play less entertaining than it should be, namely patchy AI, weirdly uneven damage and disproportionate loss of health. Still, if you like a game that goes boom, this one’s for you.
