Games Review: Guitar Hero: Metallica

The latest must-have for any ageing supergroup is a video game based on their back catalogue. Aerosmith have done it, the Beatles are on the case. Guitar Hero: Metallica is the latest example of how bands are diversifying and it’s a great game for hardcore fans of both the group and of the Guitar Hero brand. There’s the usual line-up of songs – hits, B-sides and guest acts – plus a new expert drumming mode for the seriously dedicated. It’s a bit pricey, but it certainly does rock.
