Games review: GTA IV - The Ballad of Gay Tony
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

For the final time we delve into the mean streets of Rockstar’s Liberty City. Attentive Xbox Marketplace downloaders will have already played previous GTA IV expansion The Lost and Damned, but where Damnedwas a dark tale of bloody biker feuds, Gay Tony is a bright, vibrant, hedonistic celebration. When high roller Anthony “Gay Tony” Prince, finds himself on the wrong side of the mob, he enlists Louis Lopez to lead his retaliation. A focus on the outrageous, from base jumping to pitched battles with helicopter gunships, ensures the series ends with a bang.
The Ballad of Gay Tony is also available to buy on disc as one part of Episodes from Liberty City, which also includes The Lost and Damned. Episodes from Liberty City releases on 29/10 for £34.99 and will play without a copy of the original GTA IV.
