Games Review: EA Sports Active
EA, Wii £44.99
Forget the mind-enhancing discipline of yoga or the fun factor of bashing balls into a net: EA Sports Active takes the “fitness is fun” concept pioneered by Wii Fit and puts it firmly back into the “no pain, no gain” slot usually occupied by exercise DVDs. Having said that, though, Sports Active is a great tool for getting the most out of the Wii and even having fun in the process, but expect to sweat rather than giggle your way through boxing, inline skating and dancing sessions. Every move youmake is turned into calories burnt, so if you are still reeling from the BMI assessments of Wii Fit, bewarned.
