Sony’s fingers-on-the-buzzer quiz series is back with a new title featuring 4,000 questions about Britain. Slanted rather more towards pop culture than 2,000 years of national history, Brain of the UK is perky enough but the format is starting to look more than a little thin. Quiz master Buzz is as annoying as ever and the wireless controls don’t come as standard, meaning that newcomers have to grub around to find a set with which to play. Next time around, here’s hoping for a new presenter and a fresher look.
