The new season brings a range of new locations, characters and skins to the hugely popular battle royale game, and advances the game’s overall story.
One of the most talked-about new additions is a humanoid cat, which players are able to acquire as a character skin.
The first season of Fortnite‘s second season has been active since October, lasting nearly twice as long as people were expecting.
A rumoured reason for the delays was that Epic Games, the studio behind Fortnite, had decided to switch to a new physics engine, which required substantial amounts of testing.
Fortnite – Chapter 2 Season 2 will be playable from early in the day on Thursday 20 February, after a brief window of ‘downtime’ while the game is being updated.
