Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Bethesda have announced plans for three upcoming add-on packs for Arkane Studios’ Dishonored, to be released simultaneously on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC (which will be a relief to PS3 owners following the widely criticised lack of DLC support on Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim).
‘Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials’ will be the first to release, becoming in December for £3.99 (or 400 Microsoft Points), and will include 10 challenge maps that will ‘test and track your combat, stealth and mobility skills.’ Trials include an arena battle against waves of enemy AI, a gravity-defying run of drop assassinations, and a race against the clock. ‘Dunwall City Trials’ also features a whole new set of achievements and trophies as well as a global online leaderboard.
The second and third add-ons for Dishonored will be coming in 2013 and will each feature story-driven campaigns. Pricing on these two packs will be revealed closer to launch.
Daud, the leader of the group of supernatural assassins who you get up-close and personal with during the main campaign, is confirmed as the focus of the second add-on pack, scheduled for release in early Spring 2013. Players will make their way through new Dunwall locales and discover Daud’s own set of weapons, powers and gadgets in a new story-driven campaign. And, as ever, how you play and the choices you make will impact the final outcome.
Additional story details on the third add-on pack will be ‘revealed closer to its launch next year’ according to the official announcement.
