Journey across time to save the world in Kinect's latest dance off.
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Microsoft have announced nine additional songs for its forthcoming Dance Central 3, the series which, let’s face it, remains the best reason for purchasing an Xbox 360 Kinect.
The songs, complete with ‘authentic’ dance routines, include:
Afrojack ft. Eva Simons – Take Over Control
Alexandra Stan – Mr. Saxobeat
Ciara ft. Missy Elliott – 1, 2 Step
Cupid – Cupid Shuffle
Daft Punk – Around The World
Dev ft. The Cataracts – Bass Down Low
Enur ft. Natasja – Calabria 2008
Martin Solveig ft. Dragonette – Hello
The Trammps – “Disco Inferno”
Details of a new (and appropriately hammy) story mode have been unveiled too, and will see players join the ranks of ‘Dance Central Intelligence’ as they bid to uncover a plot to destroy the world while journeying through the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s, ‘00s to save it. Interestingly the mode can be played alone or with a friend and serves to unlock power moves as you travel across eras.
Dance Central 3 is scheduled to release on 19 October 2012 for Xbox 360 Kinect.
