Slazenger and Wimbledon have the longest sporting partnership in sport. The Slazenger Court Polo and shorts set is a traditional tennis staple.
We loved the lightweight polo which is comfortable to wear and features a three button fastening. The court shorts feature a plush waistband and drawstring closure. Pockets are deep too, which prevents any tennis balls escaping.
The Slazenger Court Jacket finishes the look which is perfect for chilly days and can be easy removed if things get a little warm.
New Balance Tournament Polo and Shorts: £49.90 and £55, Tennis Point and New Balance
New Balance produce beautiful kit. Canadian star and Wimbledon finalist Milos Raonic wears the brand, as does Heather Watson.
The Tournament Polo is a sleek tee designed to move with the body. It features a contemporary v neck. The material is silky to touch and did not restrict moved with ease on court.
This is accompanied with Tournament 9-inch shorts which have laser cut perforations for ventilation.
This look would be at home equally on the court or in the clubhouse.
New Balance Tournament Dress: £80, New Balance
The Tournament Dress is a delicate feminine piece designed to enable you to perform at your peak.
With its stretchy knit moisture wicking materials, it is manufactured to keep you cool while ensuring you look your best.
The back panels are perforated to allow for some additional ventilation. The quality of this garment is superb and it proved comfortable on court. We particularly like the discrete NB logo.
All in all, this is a great option which will stand up to the rigours of the warmest days on court.
Lotto Nixia Dress: £50, Lotto Italia
Poland’s number one Agnieszka Radwańska wears this dress on tour, she is famous for her deft touch and insane shot making.
The Lotto Nixia Dress comes with plenty of support with a coordinating sports bra. The quality is superb, the material proved comfortable and very breathable.
The modern stretch materials give great freedom of movement too and don’t stick in warm weather. It features a scoop neck and the mesh on the back helps improve breathability.
Finish the look with the Ace II Bandana and the Twist Wristbands.
Artengo Soft 500 Tennis Dress Pink: £13.99, Decathlon
Artengo produce a great piece of a kit at a very affordable price. The Soft 500 dress provides is designed for summer court wear and is lightweight and breathable.
In our play tests we loved the soft material. If Pink isn’t your colour there is a graphic black option too and its available in sizes 8 to 16.
The Soft 500 dress proves that looking good on court doesn't have to cost the earth.
Our only gripe is that it could do with a pair of shorts underneath.
Head Vision Graphic Dress: £64.99, Head
Head are perhaps better known for their excellent tennis rackets – but they also have an extensive range of clothing. The Vision Graphic Dress adds some visual interest with floral design.
During our play test we really found the double shoulder straps beneficial. With extra support from the integrated bra, this really is a performance garment of the highest order.
Available in three different floral colours and sizes from XS-XL, the Head Vision Graphic dress brings some flower power to the court.
The Verdict: Best tennis outfits
The Under Armour gear was our favourite mens outfit in the test, it is really well made and has a loose comfortable fit.
For the ladies, whilst we all love a bargain and the Artengo Soft 500 Dress is exceptional value for money, the New Balance Tournament Dress is our favourite ladies outfit. It ticks all the boxes and is very comfortable.
