From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

While the queen of clean tries out a host of new tools on her account, there is one in particular that she frequently returns to for tackling the grimiest jobs: the sonicscrubber.

Mrs Hinch uses the gadget, which is an electric cleaning brush, to scrub everything from her washing machine drawer to her shower plughole and even the grout in her kitchen tiles, and, if her extraordinary results are anything to go by, it really does work like a dream.

However, Mrs Hinch isn’t the only fan of the brush. The tool has picked up glowing reviews on Amazon with an average 4.6-star rating out of a whopping 12,000 reviews, with one person dubbing it a “gamechanger”.

“I cannot believe how reasonably priced and effective this little gadget is! Recommended to me by a friend and I love it already,” they wrote.

“My window frames have never looked so clean – living on the ground floor facing a gravel car park, we are permanently faced with dust. This is a gamechanger, everybody needs one.”

Sonicscrubber household electrical cleaning brush: £18.99, Amazon.co.uk

If you’re looking for a tool that will take the hard work out of cleaning, this could be it.

An electric cleaning brush, the sonicscrubber works much like an electric toothbrush, with an oscillating head that rotates 10,000 times per minute, meaning you have to put in far less elbow grease than normal. In fact, the cleaning brush promises to reduce cleaning time by up to 57 per cent.

The gadget is battery-powered and features a non-slip handle and long head that means it can reach into all the nooks and crannies that are usually missed, such as the grout between tiles or the spot behind the tap.

You can also choose between four different heads depending on what you’re using the tool for: a medium size, large size, cone-shaped brush and one with soft bristles.

From cookers to pots and pans, the sonicscrubber promises to dislodge dirt in no time.
