Katie Davies is US Editor at The Independent, overseeing all US-facing editorial output. Katie first joined the Independent in 2010, working as an editor on the news desk following an award-winning career as a regional newspaper reporter in London. She moved to New York in 2012 and spent eight years as a senior digital editor at the Daily Mail before rejoining the Independent in her current role. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children
