Emily Wilson Smith
Emily is a founder and director of Irise International, a charity and social enterprise working to address inadequate menstrual hygiene management in East Africa through manufacturing affordable reusable pads and delivering girl-positive menstrual health education. She is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield and a Research Associate at Kampala International University with nearly ten years of experience of women’s health and development.
