Andy West is a very handsome journalist and radio producer with an utterly average background. He was born in Northampton, raised in Milton Keynes, not very comprehensively schooled in a comprehensive school, trained in a mediocre university and nurtured and subsequently sacked by a string of commercial radio stations.
