Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Pescatori Haymarket is the third fish and seafood restaurant to open under the name. Specialising in Mediterranean cuisine, Pescatori Haymarket prides itself on the quality and authenticity of its dishes. It uses simple cooking methods, fresh herbs and fish bought daily from Billingsgate market. Marking a departure from the bohemian appeal of the original Pescatori in Charlotte St, and its elegant sister restaurant, launched last year, in Dover St, Mayfair; Pescatori Haymarket combines a stylish champagne and oyster bar with bright, modern decor and has become a popular venue for parties.

The Information has three meals for two to give away at Pescatori Haymarket - each includes a bottle of Italian Prosecco and is worth up to pounds 80 for two. For a chance to win one, send your name, address and daytime number on a card to: The Information Offer c/o Luisa Welch, Image Communications, Britannia House, 4-24 Britannia Street, London WC1X 9JD. Offer ends on 30 Oct. Usual Independent Newspapers rules apply.

Pescatori Haymarket 66 Haymarket SW1 (0171-839 3641).
