From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Halo: Reach, the latest futuristic shooter in the blockbusting Halo franchise, has unquestionably been the biggest game of 2010. Making over $200m in first-day sales alone, and getting an average score in reviews of 93 per cent, Reach is a genuine blockbuster.

Set in the year 2552, the game follows the exploits of Noble Team, a spec ops unit serving under the United Nations Space Command, in its desperate struggle to save the 700 million inhabitants of the planet Reach from a merciless coalition of alien races called "the Covenant".

The action unfolds on alien planets and in space, as Noble Team pit themselves against impossible odds and an implacable foe. The player takes control of rookie new member of the team - known only as Noble 6 - who soon emerges as the saviour of Reach.

To celebrate the game's success, its creators have teamed up with The Independent to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a rare "Legendary" edition of the game, and Limited Edition Halo: Reach customised Xbox 360 console on which to play it. To enter, just answer the questions below.
