We're talking telephone numbers, here. No, really. Telephone Directories on the Web has links to Yellow Pages, White Pages, email addresses, fax listings and business directories from more than 150 countries around the world. The bulk of these are commercial phone numbers, but it is possible to find a few residential directories.

At one time just an excellent search engine, Dogpile (above) has grown (if that's the right word), into a fully-fledged browser replete with all the usual topics you'd want to find. Its strength, though, is still the Metasearch, which deploys 10 separate engines in pursuit of your surf goal.
