Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Knockout Kings 2000 HHHH

PlayStation If you thought Midway's Ready 2 Rumble was the be all and end all of boxing games, look out for EA's Knockout Kings 2000. It features the greatest boxers, past and present, and you can challenge them for the heavyweight crown. The graphics show the pace and fluidity of EA's Fifa games, but they also boast incredible attention to detail.

Revenant HHH

PC CD-ROM Revenant casts you in the role of Locke D'Averam, whose mission it is to locate and rescue Lord Tendrick's daughter from the clutches of evil. The graphics create a classic RPG atmosphere, although the 3D figures are distinctly cartoon- like. With a vast environment to explore, this should provide a solid challenge for hardcore gamers.

Chef's Luv Shack HH

Dreamcast South Park character Chef gets his own game and it's similar to Mario's Party on the N64. But instead of a board game, players compete in a quiz show answering questions, and completing mini-games for points. The mini-games are entertaining, but overall the gameplay is minimal, making this Luv Shack's attraction short-lived.

Theme Park World HHHH

PC CD-ROM The sequel to the cult Bullfrog title Theme Park looks certain to continue its legacy. Theme Park World allows you to design, build and run your own amusement park. The new 3D appearance enables players to explore their park in greater detail, or even visit it in person. This will have you hooked in no time.
