As has been rumoured for many months, HBO has confirmed a trailer for the upcoming season will debut during this year’s Super Bowl.
Whether a release date will be announced remains unknown, but recently actors from the show have begun dropping hints as to when we can expect season two to begin.
Evan Rachel Wood (Dolores) was the first person to accidentally spill, saying “spring 2018” was the estimated time of arrival. Then, Jeffrey Wright (Bernard Lowe) narrowed down the timeframe further, saying April 2018 on Facebook.
Considering the series must air five episodes before 31 May to be eligible for next year's Emmy nominations, it's a fair bet these dates could be correct.
Rachel Wood, Wright, Thandie Newton, James Marsden, Ben Barnes and Ed Harris have all been confirmed to return, as will Jimmi Simpson, Clifton Collins, Jr., Simon Quarterman, and Luke Hemsworth. Read all we know about season two here.
