From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

New co-host Matt LeBlanc has shared a photo with one such celebrity who'll appear on BBC's upcoming revamped series: British rapper Tinie Tempah.
It's unclear as to what capacity Tempah will feature on the show, but it's known the two have been working together for a few days in the exotic location of South Africa. Many are no doubt hoping it could signal the return of popular segment Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.
Fellow presenter Chris Evans was also present, last week posting a photo of the Friends actor and musician Seasick Steve on a flight.
Recent reports have suggested that the new series' episode count may be shorter than planned due to filming delays.
8 May was rumoured to be the original airdate, but bosses seem to have pushed the premiere back to 22 May; either way, it looks like Top Gear will retain its Sunday night timeslot.
The other hosts of the car series include German racing driver Sabine Schmitz, TV presenter Rory Reid and motor journalist Chris Harris.
