From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Season seven of The Walking Dead has been defined by one man: Negan. The villainous head basher has gone from bad to worse, torturing the minds of those who remain alive.
Episode four, titled ‘Service’, looks set to continue the morbid trend, once again centring on those who survived Negan’s attack, but this time over an extended period as the episode will last 90 minutes instead of 60.
Following the third episode’s conclusion, the trailer has been released showcasing Rick once again struggling with authority.
The synopses for the episode reads: “The remaining members of the group try to keep it together in Alexandria; they receive a sobering visit.”
However, it is perhaps episode five’s synopses that reveals more about ‘Service’. It reads: 'Saddled with grief and surrounded by enemies, members of the group try to find safety at the Hilltop before it's too late.’
Saddled with grief? Could another member of Rick’s gang be about to die? In the meantime, you can read about the five major talking points from episode three here.
The Walking Dead airs on Sunday nights at 9/8c on AMC in the US, and on Monday nights at 9pm on FOX in the UK.
