This election is still a dead heat, according to most polls. In a fight with such wafer-thin margins, we need reporters on the ground talking to the people Trump and Harris are courting. Your support allows us to keep sending journalists to the story.

As 2016's US election season nears its climactic moment, pop culture is churning out its satirical takes by the bucketload.
With Saturday Night Live making Alec Baldwin their regular Donald Trump impersonator and even will.i.am. dropping a hot dance track in support of Hillary Clinton, The Simpsons have also released another satirical take on the presidential race.
Following the show's official endorsement of Clinton, which saw Homer finally place his vote with the Democratic candidate, the animated show's newest clip sees Homer actually head off to the polls.
Unsurprisingly, it's revealed megalomaniac tycoon Mr. Burns is a Trump supporter, bearing the ironic t-shirt 'Average Joes for Trump'; which Smithers supports superficially with a, 'I'm with Him' t-shirt, although the back soon reveals he's actually an ardent Clinton fan.
Homer, meanwhile, becomes suspicious of a Red Sox fan expressing his support for Trump; describing his chosen candidate as, "Good businessman, never sleeps. Doesn’t pay his taxes… legally."
Turns out, said Trump supporter is actually Russia's President Vladimir Putin in disguise, as the sketch takes a shot at the Republican candidate's reportedly cozy relationship with Putin and his own special interests in the outcome of the 2016 election.
According to Putin, who sits topless astride a horse, Trump is already winning by "102%" thanks to his Russian hackers; with the clip ending on the Kremlin making way for a brand new Trump casino.
