Your support makes all the difference. The Masked Singer UK fans believe that the identity of Dragon has been confirmed following an apparent mistake on Instagram.
Dragon has proven to be one of the most elusive identities on ITV’s popular reality series, in which stars disguise themselves in wacky costumes and perform while a panel of judges are tasked with guessing their identities.
One of the leading guesses that has emerged over the past four weeks is that Dragon is, in fact, RuPaul’s Drag Race star Courtney Act.
The rumours have been fuelled by an Instagram post shared by FunkiFabrics, the company behind the elaborate dragon costume.
FunkiFabrics used multiple hashtags in its now-deleted post of the show’s smiley dragon, however, Act was the only celebrity to be tagged.
Fans are divided over whether the Instagram message is a red herring or a slip-up that may have cost The Masked Singer one of its most intriguing mysteries.
“Oops there goes future business with that show,” one user wrote.
Another added: “Wow so… just don’t understand that show at all? Good luck keeping any repeat business.”
FunkiFabrics, however, has since deleted the post and shared an Instagram message stating: “Funki honestly does not know who the masked singer is – no spoiler alert.”
Act – real name Shane Jenek – is an Australian drag queen, singer and television personality.
Other clues picked up by viewers that may hint toward Act include the rainbow pattern on Dragon’s chest, which some have taken as a nod to the LGBTQ+ flag.

Act is currently the bookies’ favourite to be revealed as Dragon, with odds currently even. Visage is second-favourite, at 3/1, while Katherine Ryan and Sue Perkins trail at 5/1 and 10/1 respectively.
The Masked Singer continues Saturday at 7pm on ITV.
