Walsh is the fifth celebrity to leave Strictly, and Sunday night’s episode was his second time in the dance-off, following last week where he was saved by the judges after competing against radio presenter Vick Hope.
The judges’ scores were combined with the results of the viewers’ votes to decide the lowest scoring two couples facing the dance off.
Both couples – Seann and Katya, and Graeme and Oti – performed their routines again in the Sunday Results show, which also saw a special musical performance from Rita Ora who sang her new single “Let You Love Me”.
Graeme and Oti performed their Cha Cha to "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, and Seann and Katya performed their Viennese Waltz to "I Put A Spell On You" by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins.
Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli all chose to save Graeme and Oti. Head Judge Shirley Ballas didn’t have to cast her vote, but said she would also have saved Graeme and Oti.
Asked by co-host Tess Daley about his time on the show, Seann said: “When you watch it and hear people at the end say this has been the best experience in my life I don’t think you don’t really believe but this has been without a doubt the best experience of my life, probably bar the last few weeks. But generally speaking from the beginning it really was. I can’t believe it, it’s been amazing.”
He added: “It’s an absolute miracle that I’ve gotten this far. I’ve been Neo from The Matrix, I’ve been used as a step of steps and even Craig a few weeks ago called me hot, it’s been a dream come true and that’s because of you.”
Walsh’s appearance on the show has arguably been the most controversial in the show’s history, after he was pictured kissing his married dancing partner Katya after a week of rehearsals earlier this month.
At the time the photos were taken, Walsh was in a relationship with actress Rebecca Humphries. Both Walsh and Katya issued a public apology, referring to the moment as a “mistake”.

Speaking on the sister show of Strictly Come Dancing, It Takes Two after the pictures were published, Walsh said: “First of all, I would rather not be having to address this publicly but I feel like I have to. I made a mistake which I’m very sorry for. I’m sorry for the hurt that I’ve caused. You never think about the extent of the damage that you’re going to do in a mistake that you’ve made.
He continued, telling host Zoe Ball that he’s not perfect, “far from it,” and that his relationship with Humphries wasn’t perfect either - but that he was very sorry for the way it ended.
The 32-year-old then took a moment to defend his character, which has been questioned following his ex’s open letter, in which she said he “aggressively, and repeatedly, called me a psycho/nuts/mental” throughout their relationship whenever she questioned his “inappropriate, hurtful behaviour.”
The comedian responded: “I feel it’s also important for me to say that the people that know me the most, that love me, they know that I am not the person I am being portrayed as,” he said. “I’m still sorry for what I did but it’s very important for me to get that out there.”
Katya was asked if she had any words for Seann during their final moments on the show, and said: “It wasn’t easy but thank you for your commitment every single day. We did twelve hours, it was amazing and I’m so proud of you from day one when you couldn’t get your right from your left and now delivering dances like that that. Thanks for making me laugh a lot”.
The remaining 10 couples will take to the dancefloor next week when Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday 3 November at 7.05pm
