Ryan Reynolds has shared an innuendo-laden tweet reminiscing about the time he was on Sesame Street.

The Deadpool star appeared on the children’s TV show back in 2010, during which he dressed in a giant letter A to perform a song about The A Team using words beginning with “A”.

Reynolds struggled to hold back his laughter during his scenes and fortunately still saw the funny side when a fan tweeted him on Sunday (24 January) to say that they’d been rewatching the episode.

Resharing the tweet, Reynolds wrote: “I remember how challenging it was to sing because the A-hole was so tight. But I pushed through because kids all over the country were counting on me.”

In response to the tweet, fellow actor Zach Braff continued the innuendo, replying: “You had me at A-hole was so tight.”

“I’ll take ‘Things you can’t say on Sesame Street’ for $1000,” one fan commented.

Last week, Reynolds made headlines as he shared a behind-the-scenes clip from 2009 comedy The Proposal that showed him “feuding” with Betty White.

“We made this 12 years ago,” he wrote on Instagram. “Betty turns 99 today, but she is [100 per cent] the funniest person on the planet.”
